In order to produce quality work, you have to demand excellence. That means accurate information, proper spelling, proper grammar, proper punctuation, clear imagery.
When you bring on new employees, don’t hand them off to someone else on their first day. Spend the first half-hour to an hour setting the standard. The standard of quality that you expect. The standard of excellence.
Make it a daily practice. Talk about it at each meeting. Don’t allow your employees to accept sub-excellent work. They need to check each other. “Good enough” never is.
